Title: UCL.LUA ERROR?

why am i keep getting this error when i try and open the ulx menu from console and chat

ULib/_cl_2.30/sh_ucl.lua:25: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value)

i installed everything how it supposed to be and i double checked but it still says that error when i add a user or try and open up the menu

I can show wat I get in HLSW when I use the ulx menu and the add user command

Did you by any chance use the SVN version for a while and then installed the release version over it? That's how it appears, anyways. Try deleting your ULib/data folder and letting it regenerate.

EDIT: Oops, sorry, that's supposed to be data/ULib... I should really double check whenever I give paths...

i didnt use the SVN version i deleted the old version and installed the new one ,but ill try and delete ULib/data and see if it works or not

Edit: it works now it turns out that a folder was missing files

Edit2 : now it get this

when i do have access ive tried through console but its still says i dont have access

Megiddo, let's be very clear with this person.

Camo, Megiddo's instructions weren't clear if you're not used to Gmod's required data structure.
Do this for now.
Reinstall ULib and ULX by doing the following.
Shutdown your server.
Delete your server's gmod/addons/ULib and gmod/addons/ulx
Delete your server's gmod/data/ULib folder (Megiddo's instructions might have caused you to delete your addons/ULib/data folder..NO)
Unzip our files (from www.ulyssesmod.net download page) to your server's gmod/addons folder so you have gmod/addons/ULib and gmod/addons/ulx.
Edit your settings/users.txt file like the link we point to in the ulx_readme.txt file says.
Restart server.
Join server.
You should have access to at minimum ulx help.
