Title: Lag when spawning

On my server, whenever people join they have very high pings and lag for about 30 seconds until the MOTD appears. Is there any error or does ulx just do this?

How big is the motd? Other addons also send data during this time (right after spawn). What other mods could be sending lots of data right after spawn?

Theres no other addons sending much data, as it only happens  when ulx is in use on the server. At current its the default motd (I'm changing it today).

Its not a MAJOR problem, I just wondered if it usually happens with ulx.

The data has to get to them somehow...
