Post by: RaiZo on July 22, 2010, 09:18:43 AM
Is there anyway the Ulysses admin mod can be created for cs 1.6? Ive seen videos of its use in Gmod and i gotta tell you IT IS BADASS. But i do not own gmod. I own Counter Strike 1.6 and a server for it. It would be really nice if you guys made it for CS 1.6 :)

Unfortunately ULX and ULib are based on LUA. Garry added LUA support to garrysmod, it is not a standard for most Valve/Steam games.

However, you can use MANI admin mod, which if I remember correctly was one of Megiddo's inspirations when he developed ULib and ULX.

Short answer... no, ULX was designed for and will only work with GMod 10.

I thought Mani only worked for CSS?

And common misconception about Mani Mr. P, I wasn't actually aware of it's existence at the time I made ULX. I drew my inspiration from AMXX, which Mani mod did as well. AMXX is probably what you'd want to use for CS.
