Title: MOTD won't work

I can't seem to get a MOTD to show, no matter what, when I type ulx motd into the console it doesn't even recognise the command (although everything else works except banmenu and adminmenu).

I use a linux rented server so I can only use FTP. I tried motd and ulx_motd.txt inside the gmod folder and motdfile didn't work for me either.

Anyone have any ideas?

Any errors in server or client console?
