Hello,
I can't add as admin when i use the release version of Ulx, so i get the SVN version and it worked!
I am the superadmin of the server, but when i use the AdvDupe to pasting things, the games lost connection to the server(Right-Top corner have "Connection Problem"), then, i go back to the desktop, i found that my srcds is keeping loading.
After a few minutes, the srcds have get back to normal, but i see these error, and i have dropped connection from the server:
repopulating clients
Player [1][[HK]HopkinsKong] authed superadmin

AdvDupe Timer Error: [garrysmod\addons\adv duplicator\lua\weapons\gmod_tool\stools\adv_duplicator.lua:611] attempt to call method 'SendLua' (a nil value)
I believed that is ULX making this error, cuz i have no this issue if i am not using ULX!

Please make sure you're using the latest revisions of ULib and ULX.
-
Both i have updated already!
And now i tried to remobe ulx, and the advdupe stil have ehis err:
AdvDupe Timer Error: [garrysmod\addons\adv duplicator\lua\weapons\gmod_tool\stools\adv_duplicator.lua:611] attempt to call method 'SendLua' (a nil value)
I am using SVN version of ULX and ULib!! ALL are UPTODATE!

I'd first start by process of elimination.
With the recent Gmod updates, and all the addons you use, you're just asking for conflicts if one doesn't work right.
Shutdown server.
Remove all but ULib/ULX latest SVN.
Restart server.
In server console, look for errors related to ULib and ULX at server startup, and when players connect.
Join server.
Look for errors in your local console when you connect, or try to run commands.
Let us know what/if any, and how you replicate them.
If you have errors, run, from your server console, a "ulx debuginfo" and attach the file it tells you it output to your next post
If no errors, add each addon back, one big one at a time, restarting server every time.
I'd say your chances of finding out what is having problems isn't really ULX are about 80% (towards not.)
I'd say higher, but, Gmod was updated lately, and it seems we always have to find new fixes for Garry's 'updates'.

Fixed...
Becuase i didn't update my advdupe svn after the server update... :D
Thanks all for your help.

Seems Tad20/AdvDupe author is always having to find fixes for Garry's updates too. :)
Glad you got it sorted out.

I am getting these same errors with the latest version of wiremod...
ERROR: Hook 'ULXInitPlayer' Failed: [@garrysmod\addons\ulx\lua\ulx\lib.lua:70] bad argument #2 to 'format' (number expected, got nil)
Removing Hook 'ULXInitPlayer'
ERROR: Hook 'ULXWelcome' Failed: [@garrysmod\addons\ulx\lua\ulx\lib.lua:70] bad argument #2 to 'format' (number expected, got nil)
Removing Hook 'ULXWelcome'
I know its not a problem with ULX, because as soon as I downgrade wiremod the problem goes away. I just want to know why this happens, and may be how to fix it.
I really want to get the latest version of wiremod to work with ULX. Please Reply.
Move this post to a new thread if you like.

I haven't confirmed it, but my spidey senses tell me that Wiremod is modifying the string library behavior. Which sort of makes sense because garry changed it recently, so they probably just changed it back to how it originally worked (which is how it should work, but that's a soapbox for another day).
All of this aside, I'm supporting a workaround for this issue. Try ULX rev 157 and let me know if you're still having problems.

I have updated and no errors have happened so far, thank you very much. :D
+1 for you!

*sigh*
Great.
Now we're not only supporting our own code, working around Garry's many 'upgrades' and 'fixes' of Gmod, we're now writing workarounds for other mod's work arounds.
Scary.
Awesome, but scary. (And, no, I in no way blame Tad20 (or whoever had to do it for Wiremod) for the workaround we just did.
