Im broad and i cant find anyone to play with :C

you will need the 1.8 patch to join I belive

I tried to run a 1.8 server on my dedicated server as well. It is so littered with bugs at the moment that it is almost not even worth playing SMP until it is properly released.

Yeah there are a lot of bugs but the new landscapes that are generated are amazing and i am only letting a max of 4 people
also if you crash a lot its because you need the right java installed if you have 32 bit install 32bit if you have 64 bit install 64 bit ;)

The experience orb problem is the most annoying bug. I just setup a lava pit near the spawn and told people to jump in from time to time. :P

The orbs is a quick and easy fix. This class file modification simply removes them for the time being as they are useless right now anyway.
