Hello Ulysses!
I just download the 2 SVN's Ulib and ulx.
I placed them into my Gmod addons on my server, and i went into my server and tried to type: ulx adduser "persons name" "group"
Nothing happen, it actually said that i did have persmission to do this lol.
ANy help?
Ohh and btw, in the chat in my server it says that is running ulx mod 3.53 so its installed correct!
I think its my rcon_password, but its in my server.cfg

Noztra,before being able to use in-game commands, you must add yourself as superadmin (if you're host) using the server console and the adduser command, or, to have all addons see you using normal Gmod methods, add yourself to your gmod/settings/users.txt (that file has little to do with ULX, other than we read it at server startup)
Our ulx readme.txt in /addons/ulx and our FAQ for how to add oneself as admin point to a GMOD Wiki article that USED to exist on how to edit the settings/users.txt file.
Unfortunately, Garry decided to wipe the old wiki.
None of us here have time (or patience) for recreating the article there.

if you want to use rcon that's fine.. but it doesn't automatically elevate your commands.. you have to:::
1. type rcon_password (password) --this is the password you set in your config
2. type rcon (command you want to run as rcon) --so like... rcon ulx adduser

It says something about socket connection failed!

Depending on how you're hosting the server, you should be able to access the server console another way besides rcon. I'd try adding myself that way if I were you.
