Post by: l337espeon on December 04, 2006, 03:14:36 PM
The new LUA update to Gmod10 killed my ULX. Here is the error it gives me:

Are you running the port of ULib/ULX for Gm10?
Or are you trying to run old versions MEANT FOR GMOD9????????

GMOD 9 scripts WILL NOT WORK with GMOD 10.

<*gets off soap box*>

Sorry. If you're running the port Megiddo did, my apologies.
I'm tired and frustrated with all the people who expect or don't know that Gmod 10 lua and code are 95% different than Gmod 9, even though there have been hundreds of Garry.tv and Facepunchstudios.com posts stating that they won't work.

See http://forums.ulyssesmod.net/index.php/topic,563.0.html if you haven't got our port.
Its a wee bit buggy, but should suffice until we do a proper release.

I am running the port for Gmod10. Anyway my browser cache wouldn't let me download the new zip, so I got the old version again. I seached on facepunch and found the new zip, now it works.

Yeah, I always check here before FP. Sorry for the rant.
For those of you who are unaware...12/4's update of GM10 broke a command ULX (and several other GM10 scripts) used.
For most recent post/fix of ULX 2.9, check
http://forums.facepunchstudios.com/showthread.php?t=241092

On page 3 or 4 is a 'no_cache' link Megiddo was nice enough to put up.
