Title: Permissions?
Post by: Moka on January 20, 2013, 03:53:05 PM
So I have been screwing around with the group permissions. Can anyone tell me how the Can Target works? Its pissing me off and I cannot find anything on how it selects a group. I tried !% guessing that means everyone below but it doesn't seem to work.

"ulx help" explains the targeting system.

Really? I didn't even know it was in ulx help. I thought the help only showed info about commands. Thanks!

It's also in our FAQs of the forum.

AtomicSpark (wow, not seen him in years) also wrote up a nice article years ago when we first started using the current system.

(Beware, the 'time limits' that can be set as shown in that topic have changed drastically...search the forums a bit more t find the changes to time input)

Actually, it will still work as explained in there, we just added some keyword functionality as well. :)

The examples show ~ for time separator. I thought we'd totally converted to using colons?
1-60 old vs 1:1d new?
* JamminR is so confused *

Oops, never mind, you are right like usual, JamminR! I thought you were referring to the keywords in particular and missed the separator. The separator is now the colon to avoid console open/close problems.

See... changing ~ to :, AND adding h,d,w,y, ARE drastic changes.
:P
