Title: Gag with pdata
Post by: bender180 on September 29, 2013, 09:13:22 PM
Would anyone be interested in me posting code for a pdata enabled gag command? It would make it so gag'd players stay gag'ed after map changes server restarts or the player leaves and rejoins.

Go for it! Persistent gag could be useful for some people.

That sounds great, but thinking about it in a long term I see a couple problems along with it.

Example: People forgetting that they muted someone...

I dont want to sound greedy lol but would you be able to add a Time + Reason to this?

Reason is not that important but I think the timer is mandatory.

ive never worked with timers before but i might be able to save a date and time and make it void after a certain time has passed

Plenty of examples exist in ULX and the releases section of ways to store time.
