Anybody still have file stealer from QAC?
If anyone here does, is it alright if I got the code for it?
QAC feels empty without it. :'(
-
It would not be hard to write it yourself, though it is ethically questionable...
-
I know that stealing code is bad, but you know...
It's for a good cause...
-
If you bought it, it should come with it already.

No, it was removed. It goes against coderhire terms.

Add zero on steam and he might give it to you.

Instead of stealing code from someone else, how about you write it yourself. If it's too complicated for you, you have a whole community of coders here who have helped you before.
Unless you're using this to steal a hack someone is using so you can block it. I'm not entirely sure what QAC is.

QAC is an anti cheat which used to have the capability of stealing detected hacks.

Ah. Fair enough then. I can definitely see the utility of this.
-
I also use QAC and this file stealer could be very useful. Not only to steal hack lua files but to confirm that is was actually a hack.
-
stealing files - hack or not is going down to the same level and is an extreme invasion of privacy. grow up.
-
if used for hack detection this is a useful tool but on the other side if used maliciously it can really <FRUSTRATE> a scripter, I've had a few little scripts I wrote for my server pop up other places and it really is <FRUSTRATING>.
if xxxx is considered not family friendly i apologize.
JamminR Edited - Yeah, not best multipurpose word. Apology accepted

Excuse me? If someone connects to my server with cheats, I will show zero tolerance. In fact, there was a disclaimer that appeared a while ago when I still had my force mic add on installed, that your privacy will be invaded when under suspicion.
I would not have responded if it wasn't for your "grow up" remark. You have 4 posts on this forum and being completely malicious is not exactly the best way to start.

Neku, he's within order for this thread, with as much free right to opinion as you.
Chill.
I tend to agree with him. 'Good' intentions or not, anti-cheat or not, "the roads to Hades are paved with good intentions".
This thread borders on lock down, and even possible deletion.
-
Eh, I respect his opinion, it just ticked me off a bit with that remark.
I'll just go ahead and lock the thread, I've already got what I need.
