Title: Veto a server vote that is not a map vote.
Post by: LuaTenshi on March 02, 2014, 06:15:14 PM
Currently we have the ability to veto a server map vote. But we can not veto a server vote that is created like so... "ulx vote 'Shall we do a cleanup?' 'yes' 'no'"

Will this feature be added any time in the future?

Why would you veto a custom vote?  ???

Veto a voteban/votekick/votegag maybe. Custom votes not so much.

Some people vote to see if people want some thing changed like for example gravity, or if they should do a cleanup or not. So being to stop the vote and say no, is some times needed. Plus it would not hurt to have the extra feature. Also we have things like votekick, and voteban that also need the ability to be vetoed.

Veto is there so an admin can stop something that will otherwise happen automatically (The Map change).

If you want to 'veto' a custom vote. just Say no in chat. It's not like doing a custom vote for if the map should be cleaned up will cause the map to clean up automatically if the vote is yes. Besides, in a custom vote, who is to say what a veto value would be.

ulx vote "What is your favorite Stargate?" "SG:1" "Atlantis" "Universe"

Veto! It's clearly SG:1.... ;)
