Title: "Console" randomly editing groups

First of all, it's not me. It's not something I did. I didn't change <censor>. It's happening randomly.

What happens is that the console keeps adding certain people to a certain group. Namely, person A to "Trusted" and does it back anytime I revoke it. Every time the user is added, rainbow sparkles appear over them. It's also tending to be a certain amount of time from when I do it.

Sounds like APromote look ingame (ULX Admin Menu) under Settings->APromote and look if the Group has asssigned an specific playtime if yes, just set it to -1 .

2) That question might best be asked in the APromote release thread. We (Team Ulysses) didn't write it, and questions regarding Non Team Ulysses projects are best handled in their respective release threads.
