Title: Sounds not updating?

Alright so I'm having problems with my sounds not updating. So I have blah.wav, and I have it on my fastDL and everything. I even checked by going to the download url (http://127.0.0.1/127.0.0.1-27015/sound/blah.wav (http://127.0.0.1/127.0.0.1-27015/sound/blah.wav) is what I mean).
It works and I can download the sounds in the server. I even tried deleting the sound file from my Garrysmod directory, but whenever I try to use the sound in game it still plays the old one I had before. This is driving me crazy, I just want to update this sound without changing the name or anything like that.

Nevermind I deleted all the sounds from my garrysmod folder AND restart gmod. Must be sound cache or something not sure how garrysmod does that.

Garry's Mod is strange with its server downloads. It doesn't seem to do a CRC check on the files you have vs the servers (save maps), and thus fails to download a new, updated file if it's been changed on the server's end.
