Title: Menu Tabs don't all show up.
Post by: _FrosTy on April 07, 2015, 08:07:35 PM
2 Weeks ago, ULX was running fine on my Nutscript server but recently I found out that when I open up my menu, not all the tabs are there.
Only Cmd, Settings and Maps are there. Inside the Cmd Tab, there is only 1-2 commands per tab.
I already tried reinstalling Ulx and Ulib many times, and added my self inside the users.txt in the data/Ulib folder.

Please help me as I can not do much without these perms and do not want to manually type out the command every time.

When you say re-install, did you totally delete gmod/data/ulib and gmod/data/ulx
Also, there was a gmod update some weeks ago that severely broke Gmod, and many other addons.
Make sure you have latest server/clients.
Make sure you try getting our code from our github (SVN link on our downloads page)
If that doesn't work, see our FAQ "Having trouble with access?"
Sounds like you don't have "superadmin" group access due to a conflicting addon or gamemode if the above don't work.

Don't edit your ulib users.txt.
I'm pretty sure we never recommend that in any of our FAQs.
Too easily broken when you don't know what exactly you're doing or why.

I re-installed ulx and ulib many times, each time, deleting the data folders and the folders inside the addons folder.
I tried the github page and it didn't work. Same result happened, but I am willing to try again from the Github.

What do you mean by latest server/clients?

SteamCmd --update I think for servers.
Make sure your server is 100% latest Gmod.

SteamCMD (https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/SteamCMD) - Or direct download (http://media.steampowered.com/installer/steamcmd.zip)

Your client should be automatically updated by steam itself.  Just make sure you have updates turned on (they are by default).
