Title: FTP help with my gmod dedicated server

Hey guys

So im having trouble using filezilla to transfer files to my gmod dedicated server i looked up videos and it only shows up with how to use filezilla with hosted servers not dedicated ones so can anyone help me setup FTP with my dedicated server and its a hosted one from my computer. so can you guys help me or tell me how to set up filezilla for a home hosted Garrys Mod server

If you're hosting it on your own computer, there's no reason to use an FTP client. You have physical access to the files, just put them in the right places in your server installation.

the problem is when i want to access the files from other places so i an manage my server away from home so how do i do that

You have to install and set up an FTP 'Server' in order to connect to it with an FTP client.

FileZilla makes a server as well.

Make sure you forward port 21 if you are hosting the server on your home network.
