I've been running a gmod server for 6 months, until suddenly the server will restart at the most randomest times
For example:
Having a small space battle, server will restart itself, looked in console, literally nothing except the last input thing was maybe someone typing hi in chat, then 5 minutes later, same thing, but nothing spawned in
3-4 hours later, another random restart with nothing spawned in!
1-2 hours after that, another random restart with maybe two ppl shooting each other!
In total in one day, we have has: 11-14 random restarts
What could it be? I've read on this forums that Ulx 3.6 was buggy and I should revert, but I doubt that's the issue, as this has only surfaced since last month
Could it be a hacker? Someone randomly restarting the server...(Which I doubt, since hackers would probably do more)
What should I do? Please help! lots of players are leaving my server because of this.
If you need logs, screenshots and a collection link, please let me know!

This is mostly likely being caused by server monitoring methods you are using.
If you are running a server yourself are you using a .bat file to monitor the server and restart it if it crashes?
If you are using a server host (paid) they probably have software that monitors the server.
Sometimes if the server hitches or lags the software/batch file will think the server isn't responding and it'll kill and restart it.

I use serenity servers hosting
So how would I fix this? Ask them? Or what?

They said that it was an addon crash, and to try running the server without the collection....(which I don't wanna do, since today is a popular day)
So is it an addon crash or no?
-
It's hard to say. If they are telling you it is, it probably is.
-
Could you be able to help me out if I sent you a screenshot of the addons in the addons folder? Maybe see the collection?

No, that's not possible.
The only way to determine which addon is crashing your server is remove them one by one until your server stops crashing.

And, start with removing any you added about a month ago when it seemed to have started.
