Superman command.
« on: September 03, 2007, 02:40:42 PM »
Hey people! I've been using ULX for some time and it's great. I wondered if there would be a way to get the Superman addon and the ragdoll command to make a superman command. To find superman, use www.garrysmod.org. Using non-svn release.

Thanks.

You could use my Ghost script (original by Spacetech) but the ragdoll will be moved by his torso lol. A solution is to statue it (in a superman position :P) and..with little tricks, there is way to fly like superman :)

Superman (at least last time I looked), only allowed for 'flying', and viewing of the body flying, on the client side only.
No one else on the server could see you.

Seems a bit complicated for the likes of ULX as an admin mod.
Perhaps a access based module for ULib, but not necessarily ULX.

It is possible. I never thought bring was possible, for an example, but it is easier than I thought. We could try to combine the ragdoll command with the superman, editing a bit the superman one so that instead of moving the dead guy's grave it moves the ragdoll we created.

This definitely is not something you're going to see in the default ULX. Why? We try to only put commands in ULX that are going to be truly useful to admin your server.

For an example. Does that tell something? I DON'T WANT IT IN THE DEFAULT ULX, I WANT IT IN *MY* ULX... Sorry dude, but that's been requested and my only idea was: ULX.

As I said.

Have fun finding someone to do it for you.

Umm... That's not really easy to do. I tried to do it by myself, but as I never coded in lua, I messed up the ULX command. The second time, if I applied the command to somebody, he would be ragdollized and couldn't come, apart from when I unsupermaned them, they couldn't use ANY tool or even worse, spawn stuff.
