I just found something. The UPS friends seems to be messed up. Everyone is allowed to prop share, but you can't remove a friend from prop sharing.

Skimmed the thread and it looks like others are having the same error I am. Only admins are able to manipulate their own props, everyone else apparently gets an error.

I'm unable to join the server to check what the actual error is because I'm on my laptop though, so I guess this doesn't really help much :[

For anyone else having issues with players not being able to pick up their props, using the SVN version of UPS fixed that for me.

From my superadmin's response, UPS is starting with the "DISABLE EVERYTHING FOR EVERYONE" box checked. Did my config go splat, or is something worse at work?

I haven't gotten around to weaning our configs off garry's system, so in order to save a config the server must be shut down gracefully (full shut down, not a crash or a map change).

In short, try changing that setting and then shutting down the server.

I just installed the latest versions of UPS and ULib via SVN and it's said in the readme of UPS that the settings section will show up in the utilities. It doesn't, I'm testing it SP for my server.

Okay, maybe you should note that down somewhere :P

And I've got a request;
Make a new variable for "World protection" so it can be toggle-able for players to physgun/gravgun/toolgun world props. But deny entities like doors and windows.
