URestrict is getting complete rebuilt, and it will no longer include the loadouts tab. If someone wants to make a plugin to handle loadouts, that would be greatly appreciated.

Yay. I might try it again. :3

Jay, though a rebuild isn't always bad, you may wish to keep the loadout feature, perhaps redesign in some way?
I'm not sure of the goals or ideas you're thinking of.

As my signature author suggests, be careful.

     - Yeah, I thought about it some more after making my post. I'm going to make the loadout section of the script first, since I kind of ignored it this last time around, and after using the script a little more myself then not having loadout restrictions, I came to the conclusion that it may be just as important as the tools if not equal.

After some luck, I finally found where I saw how to disable tools.

http://wiki.garrysmod.com/?title=Console#Tool_Setting_Commands

Does your add-on use this (via ulx rcon)? If not, maybe it should instead of using some sort of hack.

These ones disable the whole tool, not only for some groups, it's really bad if you want to continue to use them.

You should have the ability to disable the loadout/tool function for people who only need one or the other.

That's right, but it depends from the loadout you set to the group.

Hello, I'm having problems with URestrict on my 10 man Build server. I'm using all SVNS of Ulx Ulib and URestrict, but URestrict is not controlling the loadouts. I used the Gui to add my groups (Groups from Ulib) I assign them to the default (Default) loadout and in the console the normal text confirming that I modified the loadout appears but nothing else happens. The HL2 loadout is still being used instead of the URestrict one. (I've read this entire thread and I tried clearing my cache\dua folder.)

Final notes, I'm using the latest revisions of all SVNs as of 4 hours prior to this post.

*UPDATE*
     *Rebuilt From Scratch
     *Modular
     *Simplified Configurations
     *One File To Modify For Tool Restrictions
     *Added Admin Exclusion
     *Piggy Backs On The Current Gamemode, Less Work To Support Gamemode like DarkRP and such

Note: THERE'S NOT A GUI OR INGAME CONFIGURATIONS AT THIS POINT! PLEASE STICK TO REVISION 31 IF YOU WANT TO KEEP THE GUI

Currently URestrict Only Affects Loadouts!

New Configs:
     <root>/data/URestrict/loadouts.txt:
Code: [Select]
"default"
{
"loadout"
{
"weapon_physgun"
"weapon_physcannon"
"gmod_camera"
"gmod_tool"
}
"groups"
{
"operator"
"user"
"superadmin"
"admin"
}
}
"excluded"
{
}

     <root>/data/URestrict/config.txt:
Code: [Select]
"tools" true
"loadouts" true
"admin_exclude" false

Any time you change the configurations, you have to reload the map. (This is only for now, once I add the commands you wont ever touch these files again.)
