Is a "Mingebag" class for the "Adduser" command possible?
« on: April 02, 2009, 01:11:32 AM »
This is a question i had.

I was wondering if it was possible to have a "Mingebag" class in ULX mod.

This class could prevent a user from spawning props and prevent them from accessing the toolgun or physgun, In other words, A class that would be a substitute for banning someone, and preventing a player from doing anything dangerous to the server.

I'm not fully sure how to create a class, Or what to use in the "Deny" section to stop a player from spawning props and using the toolgun/physgun, Does anybody happen to know the commands?

Oh, and if your wondering "Why not just perm ban them?", On my server we have a weird motto, "Punishment over exile", Mingebags are thrown in prison after ragdolling them or hanged, etc, instead of just banning them to send them off to terrorize another server, but sometimes they manage to crash it before we can ragdoll em, etc, So a command like this would really help with repeat offenders.

Thanks!

You will not be able to restrict mingebag users using ulx alone, but you can add the group and use something like urestrict to limit the toolgun. I'm not sure what you could use to control prop spawning but I'll look.

PS: I like your minge policy. As long as they dont take up all your server slots, its pretty good. It's like your not only thinking of yourself but other clans and servers as well. good job.

That's rhetorical nonsense. Who said that?
