last argument is removed from command
« on: April 03, 2010, 09:06:52 PM »
I updated ULib and ULX to the latest revisions last night and noticed that the last argument is being removed from the last command used if there is more than one argument.

Please give more example.

Sorry, I got a little distracted while trying to type that. I first noticed it while using ulx asay. It cut off the last word if there were more than two words, both with the console command and chat command. I kicked someone later and it removed the second word in the reason.

Code: [Select]
[22:30:13][pie] Kenny kicked Bot01 (test)
[22:30:13][pie] Kenny: !kick bot01 test test
[22:30:48][pie] Kenny kicked Bot02 (one two three)
[22:30:48][pie] Kenny: !kick bot02 one two three four

I also got an error while trying to use ulx ban from the server console. I'll post it as soon as I find it in the log.

Edit:
Code: [Select]
04/03/2010 - 22:24:05: Lua Error: :87: attempt to call method 'Nick' (a nil value)
L 04/03/2010 - 22:24:05: rcon from "68.224.59.39:51277": command "ulx ban lucky 1 nice try"

Hmm. Definitely an odd issue.
This just happened since yesterday?
What revision were you running before yesterday?
That revision worked fine?

I'm not positive, but I think I was running revision 90 of ULX and revision 119 of ULib and I didn't notice this problem until tonight. I'm assuming it's an issue with either the update or something else I added. I'll go through everything else that's been added to the server and see if another addon is causing the problem.

It was a problem with a recent revision in ULib, fixed in rev 122. Thanks for letting us know about this!
