Will chaning group name effect anything?
« on: February 12, 2013, 04:02:40 PM »
If I go into manage groups and change, let's say superadmin to "overlord" or something. Would that effect anything else? i.e. not recognize overlord as superadmin? And again, there is a lot of lua files where stuff is directed towards the superadmin. Would those lua files recognize overlord as superadmin?

Yeah, I believe messing with the original three groups User, Admin, and Superadmin would screw up things. I suggest you just change the team name instead of changing the group name, or better yet just make a new group all together, that inherit permissions from superadmin group.

Garry's mod code itself expects to have 'superadmin' and 'admin'.
As chaos suggests, create any group name you want, then have it inherit superadmin.
