I just wanted to point out a change to the ULX code today now allows for dynamic MOTD URLs. You can use "%curmap%" and "%steamid%" to pass the current map and the user's SteamID to a script and make more relevant/targeted MOTDs.
Some ideas:
* If you integrate with your forums, you could show the user if they have any new messages on the forums.
* Show the user if they've been banned in the past, or track warnings.
* Give the user some info on a per-map basis, like forbidden areas or tips on good spots.
