I'm having an issue on a server I'm working on were certain sound files aren't playing. They are on the server and in a workshop content pack I put together that the client downloads when it connects. However when the sounds needs to be played the client reports them missing, now the weird part is I isolated the missing sounds made a legacy addon out of them put it in my clients addons folder and they worked fine. I decided to upload the sounds on their own to the workshop and make the client download them that way. I removed the legacy addon from my files in the process. I checked the gma before it was uploaded with a gma explorer tool and the files were definitely in there where they should be.However when i connected I watched the client download the addon from the workshop as expected but the sounds are still showing as missing and will not play.
They are wav files if that makes a difference.
Fixed this issue by converting them to mp3 files.
