Closing !motd through HTML command
« on: February 11, 2017, 10:37:23 AM »
Good evening everyone,

I am advertising shortened links on my Garry's Mod servers using the a modified !motd which adds a close button that has 10 second timer before you can close the window.
Now, I am having some issues with my partners. So I have wondered if there is a way (maybe through HTML?) to only let the window close after pressing the skip add button on the shortened link.

I have found nothing useful on google nor in this forum.

Best regards,
Lolomat

There is not. The MOTD is DERMA/VGUI and the motd is HTML. The only way to do it would be to use javascript or something to send commands to the VGUI element to enable the button.

So, I guess it would be possible, but not with just HTML.
