From chat to console

The idea for example is you type in console ulx messagemode ulx maul then type a playername in chat and they get mauled.

I get this idea from HL Admin mod

Hmmm, let me get this straight:

You use "ulx messagemode <stuff here>:, and next time you say something, it runs it as a console command "<stuff here> <what you said>"?

In true command format, it would be "ulx messagemode ulx maul;say Megiddo", to pass "ulx maul Megiddo" to the console and maul Megiddo?

Are there any applications for this besides shaving off the few seconds it takes to type "!maul " in the chat window? (I'm assuming you'd bind a button to "ulx messagemode ulx maul", then just quickly say a name.)

Bind a key to the menu, i'm sure it's faster than typing a name anyway
