Hi would like some quick help please :)

OK i installed the mod or addon what ever you call it in correct place i start Gary's mod then where do i go to start the server. Sorry i very nuby at this. It is for a listen server i looked at it but i just cant find a way to host it over the net so steam can see it.

If it's for a listen server. You just select a map and set you parameters, then there should be a start button below the maps. As for setting up a dedicated server, witch I recommend http://www.garrysmod.com/wiki/?title=Dedicated_Server_Setup. If you're not able to see it in the steam servers list, just forward you ports or activated dmz. To forward your ports start
here http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm then select your router and follow the instructions.

OK now i know what parameters are lol. options how could i be so stupid >.<

but i did all that and the mod didn't appear but i don't really mind about the mod i just want to make a server online so people can go on but when i do. it appears only in the LAN area and not the online steam list. I asked a few people online how to do it i was told to forward ports.

I have no clue what that is though can anyone help me out on this pretty please

I need to go to school now ill back in 6 hours :(

Sorry for the late response. Depending what brand router you have dmz should be not too far away from where you forward your ports. Just look for dmz in applications and gaming or something of that nature.
