@Egg - I have good news and bad news. The good news is that your configurations look correct, which is also the bad news. Means that the problem lies elsewhere. Check your console and look for any errors, look to see if the URestrict box shows up.
that's this:
Code: [Select]
///////////////////////////////
//         URestrict         //
///////////////////////////////
//Loading...                 //
//  MODULE: init.lua         //
//  MODULE: canTool.lua      //
//  MODULE: give.lua         //
//  MODULE: giveSwep.lua     //
//  MODULE: pickup.lua       //
//  MODULE: spawn.lua        //
//Done!                      //
///////////////////////////////
Look for errors on the client. I need to know everything lol. Are you running sv_downloadurl. Dedicated or listen server. The more information you can give me the better your chances that we can come up with a solution.

::EDIT::
Actually no, I take that back you do have something wrong in your configs.
Code: [Select]
Player [1][EggNoggin]:
tools = true
My code doesn't do that, and shouldn't be part of my tables. =/

I'm having the same problem as newbee and Dv2236 after installing the latest ULX, ULib and URestrict updates.

I have not been keeping updated with every single update anymore, I'm also not sure when the last rev is I had that worked, I was thinking 10-13 but they don't even seem to work for me yet.

Could it maybe be one of gmod new updates?
When I noticed it did not work anymore it was after Garry added the new command "sbox_weapons"

Are you using the latest version of ULib?
Have you tested it on a sandbox?
Any errors in console?

I use SVN
My server doesnt run sandbox
No.

Revision 16:
*Fixed buggy admin exclusion for tools
*Fixed buggy admin exclusion for loadouts
*Fixed buggy toggle for tool restrictions
*Fixed buggy toggle for loadout restrictions
*Fixed GUI now properly shows true/false for admin exclusions
*Fixed GUI now properly shows true/false for tool/loadout Restrictions
*Converted boolean values to strings for the configs, don't ask :P
*Automatic changes will be rolled over to your configs, you don't have to do anything extra
*Fixed excluded table holding onto players even after disconnect

This update should fix several problems, not saying all, because I haven't figured out what it was that is causing your GUI's not to work properly, and your URestrict command not getting sent, but in due time. I am working diligently on a fix.

Oh, I might know what the problem is-- Megiddo changed how ULX gets initialized, so in the case of XGUI for me, XGUI was getting loaded before Derma was. Try using a ULib.queueFunctionCall when initializing the gui? Just a thought, hope it helps!

Don't know if it helps, but this is an error I get at startup (my "urestrict" command not getting sent):
Code: [Select]
ULib/modules/client/ur_gui.lua:1: attempt to index global 'ur' (a nil value)
Sorry for being such a noob  :P

I still had the same problem after your last fix.

But now it's works, maybe after this or ULX/ULib updates?

I think 1-2 days after my URestrict started to work good with no problems at all this hit me in the ass.

1. When I set a group for excluded, after a server restart they go back to default. This last time worked
2. When a group clicks on a weapon they cant spawn it, unless they right click.

That's all I can see wrong on my side.

Anyone else getting this problem? or just me :(

I also Don't see any errors poping up server side or client side about it. unless you count getting the message
