Bioshock (no real spoilers)
« on: January 18, 2009, 05:21:54 PM »
I just finished Bioshock. I've had it installed for months now. Got bored with it. Went to clean some gigs off my HD and realized I still had it and picked it back up.

I have to say I'm disappointed in the ending.
The last level was frustrating having to do all the goals unaided.
Then to fight the big end boss to end up with a little tiny 1 minute end cutscene.
Anti-climatic at that.
Just aggravating.

I plan on going back and doing what it takes to get an alternate ending. Heard it only takes one.
Hope so.

[UPDATE] - Cheated. Watched alternate ending(s) online. Geez I'm glad I didn't go through all that just to see alternate ending.

Personally.. I never stick with SP games, play a level or two and thats it. I got through bioshock though - trainers ftw!.... CoD4 had to be the only game I ever finished in SP without a trainer and even then it was because I had it on the PS3...

But as to bioshock, the ending was short yeah. But my understanding is that they are making a sequel and thats why it was short. No idea if thats correct though.
