You know the window that pops up when you join a server? I looked for another thread and searched for the option on the server option menu, but I just couldn't figure out how to change that window. I'm sure its simple (at least i hope it is ) and i'm just missing it, but can someone explain how i change it?

That is actually the motd (accessible after join by typing !motd).
You can change it to a web link by typing !xgui and I believe its under settings, or server settings or something like that, sorry I dont have gmod open now. Just look for the word "motd" and thats it.

Open XGUI -> Server -> ULX General Settings, and all of the MOTD options should be there halfway down the menu.

You can also just edit it via the ulx showMotd convar-- setting it to 1 will load it from the motd file stored on the server, 0 to disable, or you can enter a URL to make it point to a web link.

(And that's without gmod open )

Technically, if he followed Stickly's instructions and used XGUI, that means he's using SVN.
Which, should be located under the SVN Stuff forum.

BUT, I didn't move it because, well, even the (old) release version of ULX has a MOTD file that can be manually edited, and enabled or disabled (though, I don't think it includes the ability to display a URL (but, been a while, I forget)).
So, just left the question here.
