Lookup Past Bans

Is it possible for anyone make a system that will allow me to check if a player has been banned before? This way I can make harsher bans for repeated offenses.

This is a good idea for a project I want to work on that keeps notes on players/admins for admins. Unfortunately my project is still just an idea with no timeframe, but I do want to work on it!
