[Fun] Bodyslide
« on: May 22, 2012, 12:32:06 PM »
I got a random and wired idea! lets add !bodyslide

like if I do "!bodyslide Bot01" I am making an animation where i can see in 3rd person shooter my standing on him while hes laying down and where i can control where i slide... like a skateboard?

I just had this random idea. Its mostly for fun and entertaintment

P.S.: If you do it on yourself, you will slide your own model but without a actual person under, just a body/ragdoll
And if you just use !bodylide it will do the same as if it was yourself

(If you do it on a person like "!bodyslide Bot01" the actual person will layer under you, and you will stand on him, where your both sees in 3rd perspective/ 3rd person shooter)

I think it would be easier if you made the command "!skateon". But that's just preference.

Interesting idea.
Hellfox, you made the beta zombify, perhaps you could use some of the same control ideas with it.

Would be a good way to learn player animation controls.
If possible freeze the body position of a ragdoll while still allowing it to move in 3d space (to prevent lag..moving ragdolls body parts can really muck up a server, at least they could last time I played consistently a year or two ago)
Then figure out the crouch/jump positions of someone riding the ragdoll.
