Retro PC games in a new spin
« on: March 24, 2013, 03:35:18 PM »
Ok, I'm a PC gamer at heart.
Sure, far as consoles go, had an Atari 2600 back in the day...played on friends NES, SNES and systems after it.
But, PC has always been my thing. TRS-80, C64, then onward to Tandy 1000 and IBM Jr and now 'PC "AT" X86/64'.
Middleschool had some apples. Played Oregon trail as part of 'history' class.

This month has just released awesome new toys for me to play with this spring.
How did PC fate know its my birthday time?

First.... ORGAN TRAIL (No, that's not a mispelling - read up on it...old survival, new modern age spin!)

I've tinkered with it about 10 minutes on flatmap.
I've no idea if you can load doom maps, or how to play the music, or if there's someway to have the HL2 characters replaced with doom characters automatically (it kind of shows him playing like he did, but, he may have just loaded a map and spawned the doom NPCs.

Happy Retro Spring
