Can't find .GIF for profile picture.

I can't find a '.GIF' for my profile picture, every one I find either doesn't show up or is protected in some way.

Why not just go to google images, search for what you want, download that image, then upload it as your avatar?

I tried that, every picture I clicked on would send me to a link of a compilation  of pictures. Also, the format for the picture is http://. so how could I download it?

These really aren't the type of questions this forum is setup to answer. If you know someone you can talk to in person who is familiar with computers, I'm sure they'd be happy to help you out with this.

Indeed, off-topic was the best place for it.
However, Megiddo is saying that this forum, ulyssesmod.net, not this forum area, isn't the best forum to answer your question.
You'd find better luck at another forum, such as (fictional example) HowDoIDownloadTheInternet.com
