Recovering Lost Data
« on: July 19, 2013, 09:00:08 AM »
So I accidentally deleted all of the Lua scripts that I have been working on from my computer. Does any one know any software I may be able to use to try and recover them?

I doubt you will get them back, unless you haven't download/saved/used anything after deleting. Yes, it doesn't get "deleted" whenever you empty your recycling bin, but the space is still counted as there, so whenever you download new files, any older ones will be overwritten.

Anyways, I have used Piriform's Recuva, and although I doubt you'll get them back, you can still give it a shot.

Sorry for your loss man. Things like that suck.

I've had partial success with Recuva linked above. The chance of you being able to recover all of your files fully intact is slim though. Good Luck!
