Modified ULX Votekick
« on: July 28, 2013, 03:34:56 PM »
Is it possible for someone to make "ulx votekick" to be able to set the amount of time of the kick, such as: 5min, 10min, 20min, 30min, 60min? Also to be able to actually type the reasoning instead of choosing one of the selections? Thanks!

You can already type whatever you want for the reason (give it a shot), and setting the "amount of time for a kick" is also known as a ban.

Thanks for the reply. Actually I want a ulx Votekick/Voteban without a permanent time limit, so I can add it to my server and make it available for users/players to voteban rdmers while an admin/mod is not on. Thanks

I know it is already possible but I do not know how to do it. Should this be in a different sub-forum?

You can do this by setting up the restrictions in XGUI on the Groups tab-- select your group from the dropdown box, click "Manage Permissions", then find and click on the "ulx votekick" or "ulx voteban" command. From there you can set a minimum/maximum value for the time as you see fit-- if you set the minimum to '1 minute' then it disables permabanning.

Alternately, you disable permaban by using this console command:

ulx groupallow admin "ulx voteban" "* 1:"

Do I have to enter that console command every restart?
