I like it quite a bit! Can you clean up the shadow, though? It seems uneven.

I basically re-did the shadow, and made two versions. One with thicker font than the other:
Thicker:
Normal-like:
Decide which one you like the best.

Try putting the favicon inside of the forum directory too. Since you use a subdomain for the forums, it only shows for me when I'm on the main page but continues to be blank on the forums.

Yeah, you probably have to clear the cache. It doesn't work for me atm, but I opened up the forums in "incognito mode" and it worked.
