I noticed you guys were running SMF 2.0.5, and was just curious as to why you ponies haven't updated to 2.0.6...
I see you only have the GeSHi Syntax Highlighter mod (according to the copyright pane), which is updated to 2.0.6 at the moment...
I understand it's slightly tedious and daunting to upgrade SMF, but 2.0.6 does patch a few exploits.
Anyways, I just wanted to know why you guys haven't updated yet, and if you ever plan to. ;P

The same reason we don't have more ULib/ULX and other project updates.

Though Stickly and I have access to update the forums too, it's something we rely on Megiddo, as he's the one who has access to make sure the DB/site is backed up before upgrading.
Sure, .0.6 is only a minor version increase, but, we're tech geeks...we know the simplest edit can break stuff.

One, I never said I was proud of having OCD, but was merely making fun out of it. Plus, I never said it was cool to have a mental disorder either.

Cobalt, you are not a moderator. If you think something shouldn't be in the forums, you should report it to us. You have no right whatsoever to ask another forum member to leave.

Short Circuit, you need to stop letting people get your hackles up. Report it and we will take appropriate action.

For the record, my approach towards bronies is one of disinterest. I imagine the other moderators in these forums feel the same. In fact, my disinterest is about the same as I feel about any form of online role play. People are welcome to do it if they so desire and it's not overly inappropriate/distracting/annoying, but don't expect me to role play with you.
