Problems with !menu

Hi,
Today my members of my server notified me of a recent steam update. I did the update, and as I have seen from other posts it has caused the menu to stop working. Me being an idiot, I went and completely uninstalled ulx, deleting my groups, access etc. This also removed all other things working with ulx, like tab user tags and point shop etc. I then saw the post about the steam update ruining it, so I decided to go and install ulx. I downloaded the two ulib and ulx files but when I try and upload them it says "access denied". This may be due to the fact that my host company has a built in ulx addon installer, but I theirs is outdated. This means I cannot install the working ulx. What should I do?!

I've got a similar problem. All features of ulx work apart from the ulx menu.
Here's all I could find out to help with the diagnosis.

• Doesn't work with !menu, xgui in console or ulx menu in console.
• No errors are made.
• The menu isn't being created because of some sort of auth problem.
• The line of code stopping the menu being generated is on line 77 of \ulx\lua\ulx\modules\cl\xgui_client.lua

If it helps, I'm running a 30 slot deathrun server with addons: Pointshop, spraymon, pets / followers, csweps.

We can't help you with that, you'll need to open up a support ticket with your hosting company, as we can't assist you with that if you do not have permission to upload files.

Nova: Uninstalling ULX/ULib should not have removed your groups, access, bans, or whatever, unless you also deleted any ULX/ULib data in the garrysmod\data folder. Reinstalling ULX/ULib should restore your access.

But yes, contact your server host and speak with them about how you can install the latest ULX version.

Unfortunately sticky I did delete the four files which held all the data etc... So I'll have to wait until I have permission to upload ulx (I can upload everything else strangely enough)... or they update their ulx auto installer. Thanks for the help though.
