We all know that person.
It may be you.
It might be a significant other (girlfriend/boyfriend/spouse).
Brother/sister/mom/dad or other close relative.
Anyone.
That someone that loves a particular pillow.
They take it on all trips that might require overnight or sleeping time.
It's beat up. It's probably filled with mites. It has stains, both mystery and known.
But, the person would be more likely to ensure they have that pillow with them on one of any number of trips than they would turn around for a kids security blanket.
My friend and neighbor recently moved several states away from me.
During helping him pack, he and his spouse had to get rid of much (both due to the standard pack rat syndrome we as humans tend to have, and due to downsizing).
When he arrived in his new place, during unpacking, it was found that he lost his pillow, presumably to the trash.
Of all the worries, he thought his wife did it... betrayed his trust and got rid of his pillow.
That was mentioned on his facebook page some 2-3 months ago.
Well, he recently found it.
