Adverts Help
« on: July 10, 2015, 11:37:16 AM »
How would I setup adverts to have a 30 second delay in between each advert, not print all adverts at once after 30 seconds?

Example:
- Welcome!
- If you need help, please feel free to contact an admin.
- Remember to favorite our servers if you enjoy playing here!

I would like them to be displayed 30 seconds from each other, then display the first message again. like a cycle.

This is what advert "groups" do. In XGUI, you can set the group of adverts (type any name you want in the groups textfield), then update/save it. After that, you should be able to select/create new adverts and select the group you created in the dropdown box. This will effectively tie the adverts together, such that each advert will display one after the other.

I have tried to put each one of my adverts in a group, and that only "groups" them together on the gui, it doesnt affect on how they are broadcasted.

I am looking for a way on how to broadcast with an interval in between each "group" or "advert" not the delay whenever "an" advert is shown, if that makes any sense.

each one of my adverts in a group

If you have 10 ads with 10 groups, that's exactly your problem problem.
Each ad you want one <x> seconds after the other would need to be in the same group. Increase time if necessary.
GroupA
Ad1 10
Ad2 10
Ad3 10
Would show 3 ads 10 seconds after each other.
GroupB
Ad1 10
GroupC
Ad2 10
GroupD
Ad3 10
Would show 3 ads at the exact same time (every 10 seconds)
