Well, considering the fact I got 99 in all my combat skills in the first 10 minutes, I'd say it's not very grind-y.

To be honest, many people just stay in the HUBs and talk, or go PVMing, do mini games, complete tasks, that kind of thing.

Not only that, but the clients are illegal. They break intellectual property copyright laws. Distributing said servers is illegal, and hosting a server for them is also illegal.
