why doesn't ulx forums have favicon

Mind you, guys, favicons are cached. For quite some time.
Unless this was a recent change, however, I still see the favicon here on my school laptop on Chrome, which I only received a month ago. However, Apple is right in stating there is no direct link to the favicon file. And, more importantly, forums.ulyssesmod.net has no favicon.ico, but ulyssesmod.net itself does.
Apple, have you visited ulyssesmod.net yet? That's probably why your favicon is missing.

I have, because when I type ulx in my url, it brings me to the homepage instead of forums every time. Favicons do not automatically assert themselves to a webpage anymore, if I remember.

What do you mean by 'anymore'? I don't think there is any standard that governs how favicons are to be cached, so I highly doubt that any change to favicon caching would extend beyond one browser. Especially if said change happened recently.

EDIT: Holy just realized I'm at 323 posts... I remember hitting 100 only a couple months ago
