ULX/ULIB Problem

Whenever I try to access my server bans menu through !menu.

A box saying Loading... comes up an this error: addons\ulib\lua\ulib\server\player.lua:343: attempt to perform arithmetic on field 'unban' (a nil value) occurs
I recently added
uppl
sui_scorboard
Uteam
Also I added bots to test out some ULX stuff if anyone can help or give me a fix please do so

Are you using SVN or release version of ULX? Either way, the current menus are being phased out in favor of XGUI.

Okay I tried XGUI I love it but my admins are getting that error an the loading box NEVER goes away.
Im getting it still too.
Ive restarted my server 3 times still no success.

I dont think sui_scoreboards doing it.

UUPL worked fine before....

Only thing that could cause it an I HIGHLY doubt it is it
UTeam.

Also I messed around with the bans list earlier could that cause it?
Hope Im not coming off abit too strong.

Of course I updated it twice or thrice to try to solve the problem.

This is something I'll bring before the author of XGUI. No other errors either in client or server console than the loading box never goes away? Are you experiencing issues any other mods? Does ULX autocomplete from a client console work? This problem occurs on every single client, without exception?

It sounds like you have a corrupt entry in your bans.txt file-- Could you PM your bans file to me so I can take a look?

I have also got this error

Its happened on mine an two of my admins menu.

If I do ulx adduser NAMEHERE admin
it gives me an error aswell
Unless it that players first connect.
I found a work around for that add " " around the name.

Also this happens only with the Default !menu not his GUI but sometimes his GUI wont load a few bans. I have to manually RE-add them.

And you definitely have a corrupt bans file. Did you try to modify it by hand?

At one point I did to change the name of a player an Ill get the error for you.

SK83RJOSH, perhaps the best way to fix this problem is to copy the STEAMIDs, reasons, and names of your existing bans, then delete your bans.txt and your garrysmod/cfg/banned_users.cfg files, then use XGUI bans tab to readd the bans. (You can re-add the names and the reasons when you ban them by steamID)

My major goal with XGUI is to prevent needing to manually edit text files, because any minor typo or error can cause a lot of random errors.

An XGUI is great it really helped me with the adverts an such.

Be sure you delete BOTH the bans.txt and the banned_users.cfg files and do a changelevel or server restart before re-adding the bans
