"attempt to index upvalue 'glon'" errors
« on: October 24, 2010, 01:45:35 PM »
Hello

After the recent update of gmod things screwed up. I thought, oh I should just update the ULX and Ulib and it should be fixed. It didn't.
I installed the latest version of ULX and Ulib (the most recent svn) and it spams these errors on joining or when using !menu:
[ulib\shared\datastream.lua:188] attempt to index upvalue 'glon' (a nil value)
[ulib\shared\datastream.lua:209] attempt to index upvalue 'glon' (a nil value)
Also, most fuctions of ULX do not function anymore.

If a clean install of the addons doesn't work, then I don't know how to fix it, clear data folder?
So what is causing this?

Thank you for your time, psy

Did you remove glon from your server or client somehow? You should have a file "garrysmod\lua\includes\modules\glon.lua". Does it still exist?

Problem with that post is, something was just overall wrong with his Gmod. Not even his 'condump' would work.
