ULX "Player Not Authed"
« on: January 01, 2012, 08:56:47 AM »
When I enter in my "rcon_password", check it with "rcon echo" and then use "rcon ulx adduser <playername>" it gives me either this when I hit enter:

[addons\ulx\lua\ulx\modules\sh\user.lua:57] attempt to index local 'userInfo' (a nil value)

or this:

[@ulib\shared\sh_ucl.lua:53] [ULIB] Unauthed player

Please help!

What version of ULX and ULib are you running?
Please run "ulx debuginfo" in your server console and post the output here, then contact me on Steam (username MegTech).

If you're using other adminmods than ulx same time remove em. Assmod caused this problem for me.

Uh, not trying to sound callous, but, most likely, to remove an addon you do reverse of the instructions used to install it.
If you had to place/extract some zip file with a addon named <some_name> to your servers gmod/addons folder, to get it to stop running, you'd stop the server, go to your server's gmod/addons folder and remove the <some_name> folder.
