My regular computer is currently out of order so I have to use my mac. How can i install ULX for gmod on this? Is it possible w/o using the svn links but be able to use this? https://github.com/Nayruden/Ulysses. Also, what folder does it go in? (addons folder doesn't work)

Will Gmod run on mac OS? Wasn't aware it would.
As for 'addons' didn't work, you'd really need to give more detail.
I've seen mention of having to name info.txt to addon.txt or something like that for the new Gmod/ULX/ULib addons.

Other than that, I've no idea atm. TBH, didn't know Gmod would run on Mac now.

Found this, no idea if it would help.

And this -
http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1441922
Which shows a path to place addons in.
I'm pretty sure we could run on Linux before the GM13 update. (Case sensitivity, etc)
Mac is a proprietary Unix based system. No idea if we work on either right now.
Give more detail of errors.
Perhaps our journey could help others.

For the "addons didn't work" part, when i download an addon from the work shop, they show up in my addons folder as an "addonnamehere.gma" that need to opened up in text edit. however, when i download the ulx for gmod13, they're normal folders and don't work when i place them in add ons.

I've seen mention of having to name info.txt to addon.txt or something like that for the new Gmod/ULX/ULib addons.

Find the posts here regarding renaming. Might be on 2nd or 3rd to last page of our GM13 ULX beta discussion (not the news, but 13+ pages of discussion leading up to it)
I forget if its addon or addons.txt that info.txt should be named to.
Once that's done, show startup errors from server console.
As for how to download with no Mac SVN client, go to https://github.com/Nayruden/Ulysses
Select Ulib folder, then near top right of listing, 'downloads', then 'download as zip' (or tar.gz if you prefer, think Mac may understand it, but zip is most popular.
Then go back and do same for ULX folder.
Then extract to your addons folder and rename.

Doomed, it is your responsibility to figure out how to use the tools you want to use. Start here: http://mac.github.com/help.html

As far as using ULX on Mac, the procedure is exactly the same for all other operating systems except for path differences, and ULX works just fine on the Mac last we checked.
