Cant Spawn Weapons. [Urgent]

I renamed the super admin file to owner. After that, I couldn't spawn in weapons, or change door groups. When I say door groups, i mean when i press f2 on them, it buys it. Before, it would open a menu to make the door for certain jobs, etc.


Please Help!

For various reasons with Garry's Mod itself and compatibility with other addons (as you can tell, you've lost a lot of privilages), it is NOT RECOMMENDED to rename the admin or superadmin groups. Period. The superadmin group name is hardcoded in Garry's Mod, and can't be changed.

There honestly is no good that can come out of making an owner group in DarkRP.
You won't be able to use a lot of rp commands.

But, if you must...make an entirely new group called owner and make it inherit from superadmin.

Thats what ive been doing. But I cant even set doors to certain jobs/groups. Please rename the superadmin to owner in the next update!


Anyone have a working Owner group I can have?

Speaking for Team Ulysses - we will NOT rename groups hard-coded into Gmod.
Team Ulysses did NOT invent superadmin/admin groups. DarkRP authors created thier own custom 'top' group, and every script that doesn't check for 'owner' group, including ULX, has had problems since. (Ulysses is NOT the only one, just check Facepunch release discussions)
Gmod expects two groups, and many NON-DarkRP scripts expect these two groups to control access to them. Admin. Superadmin.
PERIOD.

I'm so frustrated with this same question over and over, I'm tempted to start auto-one-week-banning forum posters who ask it without searching the many other posts asking/discussing the same.

Well i heard you can make teams. How can I make specific people in teams?
