Get MOTD from url.

MOTD settings. Get MOTD from url is greyed out.

Please help me. Explain best you can because I'm new. But still experienced enough to figure this out.

It's very likely a bug- people have been reporting issues with MOTD settings in XGUI as of late- I just haven't had time to take a look at them yet.

For now, you can set the MOTD URL via console, like so:

ulx showMotd http://www.google.com/
.. OR if you're feeling adventurous, you can modify your server's garrysmod/data/ulx/config.txt and set the URL there.

Tried both, both failed.

Enabled Motd to open upon join, resets.

I'm having this issue on my server, as well. The code hasn't been edited in quite a while and worked previously, however the MOTD now shows up as a blank grey box identical to the one in the screenshot that Kerrigan provided.

I registered on these forums hoping to find a solution, but this is the first mention of the issue that I've found and it's gone unaddressed.

Has any progress been made?

Took me a while to get around to it- but I finally pushed a fix for this! Sorry about that.
